September 16, 2013 – Shane Stephenson & Matt Petznick first use “Invaders” as the name and use it on a jersey rendition.

October 10, 2013 – The first Invader logo surfaces.

October 12, 2013 – While traveling to play the Minot Oilers, Shane & Matt finalize the decision to build semi-pro football in Fargo.  The intent was to build a team as a non-profit organization and to grow with the city of Fargo.  The new team wanted to keep Red as one of the colors, so then the discussion turned to what the ‘primary’ color should be.  After going back and forth, they settled on a ‘creamsicle’ orange, modeling after the old-school Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team has been aligned with a Managing Board; Shane Stephenson (President, Founder), Matt Petznick (General Manager, Founder), Humberto Rodriguez (Head Coach), Casey Gibson (Vice President), Mike Bryant (Treasurer), Dwayne Frelot (Assistant General Manager), Rochenel Jeanbaptiste (Player Liason).

October 14, 2013 – The Fargo Invaders name & logo are adopted.

October 20, 2013 – Applied to join the Midwest Premier Football League (later re-named Northern States Football League).

November 10, 2013 – The Fargo Invaders were accepted as members of the MPFL; joining Granite City Renegades, West Central Broncos, Midwest Nightmare, Great Lakes Wolfpack, & Minnesota Silverbacks.

December 7, 2013 – Fargo Invaders 1st Combine.

May 10, 2014 – First Game in Franchise history; Win 49-0 at Great Lakes Wolfpack.

May 31, 2014 – First Home Game in Franchise history: Win 41-10 vs Midwest Nightmare.

June 14, 2014 – Largest Margin of Victory: Win 72-0 vs Great Lakes Wolfpack. Defense gave up 27 total yards.  Offense scored on all 11 possessions.

June 28, 2014 – First Loss in Franchise history: Loss 14-20 at Midwest Nightmare.

August 2, 2014 – First Playoff Game in Franchise history: Win 21-13 vs Granite City Renegades.

August 9, 2014 – First Championship in Franchise history: Win 35-14 vs West Central Broncos. Finished the year 8-2.

August 13, 2014 – Fargo Invaders update logo.

October 25, 2014 – Midwest Premier Football League renamed to Northern States Football League. Added Mid-America Fighting Orioles, Minnesota Brawlers, Midwest Monarchs, Northland Blitz; joining Fargo Invaders, West Central Broncos, Midwest Nightmare, & Granite City Renegades.

May 23, 2015 – First Home Loss: 0-6 vs Tri-City Northstars. Defense gives up 38 total yards.

July 25, 2015 – Fargo Invaders lose in NSFL North Championship to Mid-American Fighting Orioles 6-23. Ends season 5-6.

October 3, 2015 – Brent Lundgren & Derek Bakken are named Co-Head Coaches.

July 16, 2016 – Fargo Invaders complete Perfect (9-0) Regular Season, outscoring the opponents 347-18, recording 7 Shut Outs.

August 13, 2016 – Fargo Invaders win 2nd Championship in 3 years, defeating the Twin City Sabercats 60-6 in the Semi-Finals and Granite City Renegades 37-0 in the Championship.

August 20, 2016 – Fargo Invaders win I-29 Bowl over Tri City Northstars via forfeit.  Ends season undefeated 12-0.

November 14, 2016 – Fargo Invaders join the Northern Elite Football League, for their 10th Season.

August 10, 2019 – Fargo Invaders win 3rd Championship in Franchise history, defeating the Sioux City Stampede 16-7 in the NEFL Championship.
