About the matchup … Saturday’s matchup between the Invaders and the Titans is the first ever between the two squads … Formerly the Tri City Northstars, the MinnDak Titans will take to the field Saturday in their first Northern Elite Football League contest under the new name …

Scouting the Titans … The MinnDak Titans are based out of East Grand Forks, Minnesota … The team will play its home games at East Grand Forks High School … The Titans won the Midwest Premier Football League (MPFL) in 2019, 2018, & 2015.

Scouting the Invaders … The Invaders are coming off a 2020 season that was cancelled in its entirety due to the Coronavirus pandemic … The Invaders are defending NEFL champions, having won Elite
Bowl XII on August 10, 2019 over the Sioux City Stampede in Sioux City, Iowa, 16-7 … Fargo has 3 league Championships as well, 2019 (NEFL), 2016 (NSFL), & 2014 (MPFL).

New Faces, Same Goal … There are new faces playing for the Fargo Invaders this season … But the goal remains the same – finish atop the Northern Elite Football League, and win a National Championship.

Stich returns to the sidelines … Zach Stich, former Fargo Invaders offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, returns to the sideline this season again as the head coach of the organization … Stich was named head coach on October 22, 2019, after longtime coach Brent Lundgren announced his intent to retire from the position he held, as head coach, for four years … Stich is a former coach at the junior college level.

New changes in front office … It was announced on February 6, 2021, that Joseph Barfknecht would be named the Fargo Invaders’ new General Manager of football operations … Barfknecht remains as the Defensive Coordinator for the Invaders.
