(FARGO, ND) – The Fargo Invaders will, once again, take part in the annual Giving Hearts Day event on Thursday, February 13. Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising event. More than $70 million has been donated since the first event in 2008.
Matt Petznick, President of the Fargo Invaders, says the Invaders have been involved in Giving Hearts Day for three years. “It’s a great platform to support charities across Fargo-Moorhead and statewide,” he said. “For the Invaders, it’s a great way to get more visibility and help us expand our brand and programs we are able to offer.”
The Invaders are using Giving Hearts Day to raise funds to provide opportunity for certain groups. “We want to provide more opportunities for different segments of Youth, and Giving Hearts Day contributions will help us grow,” Petznick said. “We have done partnerships with Down Home, Special Olympics, Kamp Kace, MDA Walk, Roger Maris 61 for 61, Big Brothers Big Sisters, along with donating to benefits, charities, and more.”
