INVADERS GAIN 354 YARDS OF OFFENSE

The Fargo Invaders improved to 3-0 and defeated the Twin City Sabercats 46-3 on Saturday Night, May 21st at Sid Cichy Stadium.

The Invader defense once again stopped the opponent in their tracks time after time, while the offense was firing on all cylinders. The Sabercats ended with a total of 90 yards, with negative 10 yards coming off the ground/sack game. The Invaders defense ended the game with a total of 3 sacks.

The Invader offense ended the game with a total of 354 yards. Tony Stauss and Justan Taliaferro both ended the game with a passing touchdown and a completion % over 50. Brandon Jones led the rushing attack in yardage racking up a total of 94 yards on 17 carries and 1 TD. CT Davis added to the powerful rushing attack by adding 3 TD’s of his own coming off 14 carries for 71 yards. Ty Small and Jon Baune both recorded a receiving TD, with Baune ending the game with a total of 92 yards receiving.

The Invaders are off next weekend, but will be back at home June 4th to take on the South Metro Patriots.
