BACK-TO-BACK SHUTOUTS TO OPEN THE SEASON

The Fargo Invaders shut out their opponent for the second straight week, keeping the West Central Broncos in their stalls all game long. The Broncos had 70 yards of total offense and the Invaders secondary had 4 interceptions on the day.

Tony Stauss had 131 yards passing with 3 TD’s hitting his favorite target on the night a couple different times, Jon Baune. Baune ended with 88 yards and 2 TD’s. CT Davis led the balanced rushing attack with 86 yards and a TD, Brandon Jones notched 78 yards with Justan Taliaferro adding 58 yards and a rushing TD of his own late in the game.

The Invaders will be at home again next weekend, May 21, against the Twin Cities Sabercats at Sid Cichy Stadium.
