Fargo Air Museum

Two airplane hangars full of aircraft and interactive displays entertain aviation fans of all ages. Like the other museums in Fargo, ND, the air museum is a must-see on your trip to Fargo if you love history, aircraft, or both!

Have an Air Museum volunteer walk you through the hangars, explaining the stories and facts behind the aircraft you see. Many have worked in the museum for years, are veterans of the Air Force, or have been pilots themselves.

“Talking Trails” Audio Tour

Explore on your own with the help of an audio guide to explain the aircraft you’re looking at. You can download it as an app or call in to a number and listen to the talking points on your phone. With over 30 talking points, you’ll get an in-depth look at the planes on display.

Kids will love scavenging for clues and points of interest during your visit. Upon completion, they’ll get a free prize.

Youth Camps
• FREE and Paid Advanced STEM/STEAM Classes
• For youths ages 6-18 (camps are split into a younger and older session)
• Most camps eligible for a Boy Scout merit badge

Each month, the Fargo Air Museum holds youth camps to teach aspiring aviators a variety of skills, from salesmanship to photography to engineering.

HISTORY
In the late 1990s, a group of local military folks, agriculture pilots, and international Warbird restorers joined forces to showcase the wealth of historic aircraft in the Fargo community.

Through education, restoration, and passion for aviation, the air museum in Fargo, ND, has grown to become one of Fargo’s must-see tourist attractions, expanding its collection to two airplane hangars.
